Duke will give advance notice before traveling to the UK
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been asked by the Home Office to give 28 days notice before traveling to the UK, according to a new report.
The Duke of Sussex has been told it will then be up to the Home Office to consider whether the requested security measures are necessary, following his decision to step back from royal duties.
Details of the dispute were disclosed in legal documents relating to Harry’s libel claim against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over a story about his challenge to the Home Office over security arrangements, which has returned to the High Court on Friday March 17.
The libel suit was temporarily suspended in December last year to see if a settlement could be reached between the Duke and the publisher.
