Details of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to South Wales revealed
Prince William and Kate Middleton will visit South Wales on Tuesday, February 28. Their visit will consist of three engagements.
The first commitment is under embargo.
For the second engagement, the Prince and Princess of Wales will visit Aberavon Fitness and Leisure Center to meet local communities and learn how sport and exercise can support mental health and wellbeing.
At the centre, Their Royal Highnesses will tour the facilities, including a large indoor sports hall where Welsh youth and professional athletes, including Harrison Walsh and Hannah Brier, will take part in a session of athletics and gymnastics.
As they leave the centre, the Prince and Princess will spend some time meeting the public gathered outside.
In their third and final announced engagement, the Prince and Princess of Wales will visit Wales Air Ambulance Headquarters-
During the visit, TRH will meet relief workers, volunteers and supporters and hear about their recent operations across Wales.
The Prince and Princess will also have the opportunity during the engagement to speak to rescuers about the importance of prioritizing their own mental health.
Following this, the Prince and Princess will officially open a new family room which was designed by a bereaved family who lost their father in a tragic car accident.
The hall was created as a safe space for families, nurses and volunteers and the prince and princess will sit with the family who designed the hall, as well as the nurses and volunteers who have helped them since the loss of their father.
