Camilla pays emotional visit to charity close to her heart amid Harry attacks


Queen Consort Camilla, who has been raising awareness of the risks of osteoporosis for years, paid a moving visit on Wednesday to support the “devastating” disease that has affected her family.

King Charles’ wife was in high spirits as she arrived at the newly opened offices of the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS), an organization the royal has supported for years. During the visit, the royal had the chance to meet the helpline staff, volunteers and team members.

The Royal Family shared the photos and a clip of Camilla’s visit to the charity.

The ROS, the UK’s largest national charity dedicated to improving bone health and tackling osteoporosis, was formally known as the National Osteoporosis Society with which Camilla has a long history .

Camilla has been speaking out for decades about the importance of getting checked out and learning about the potential risks of developing the bone disease, which she has described as “devastating”.

Last October, Camilla launched the call promoting an online questionnaire focused on osteoporosis, saying in a statement: “My grandmother and my mother died of osteoporosis.
