BTS Jimin feels “a lot of pressure” as he works on his next solo album
BTS Jimin talked about the major difference he saw between working alone as a solo artist VS with BTS in his recent interview.
The 27-year-old idol of the South Korean septet was recently named a global ambassador for Dior ahead of her first appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
He also recently teamed up with the luxury fashion house for an artistic photo shoot with W Korea for an article in their magazine.
In a behind-the-scenes interview with the magazine in the middle of a photoshoot, the 27-year-old singer opened up about the creative progress of his upcoming debut solo album and the pressure he’s been feeling working on it on his own.
“I feel a lot of pressure… As I have experienced” for the past 2 years, I put my feelings and thoughts in the album chronologically. It’s an album I can look back on, I think? I wish you would think like that,” he said.
He noticed a distinct difference in working alone is that he is used to quickly discussing matters with his fellow BTS members and making a decision together.
Since Jimin has been working alone, he has found that he thinks about every aspect on his own. He also admitted that it slowed down the creative process.
“Since working on an album like this for the first time, ‘Can it come out like this’. I have a lot of thoughts like that, which makes me edit more and start over. So… More than the fans didn’t wait, it may seem like it’s coming out late.
The two BTS members Jimin and J-Hope recently took over Paris Fashion Week and attended the Dior show together.
