Ben Affleck congratulated his wife Jennifer Lopez and revealed in an interview that he received help from her for his film Nike.
On Thursday, March 16, Ben Affleck spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about his latest film Nike.
Speaking of his wife Jennifer Lopez’s support, he said: “Oh my god she’s brilliant, she knows incredibly well how fashion evolves across culture as a confluence of music, sports, entertainment and dancing.”
Affleck, 50, further revealed that Lopez “helped me talk about how part of the reason Jordans [the shoes] were so significant, it’s because the culture and style in America is 90% driven by black culture.”
“Black culture historically pioneered music, dance, fashion, and then it was stolen, appropriated, re-marketed as Elvis or whatever,” he added.
Ben Affleck stars in Nike, which premieres April 5, along with Matt Damon, Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Marlon Wayans, Gustaf Skarsgård and Davis.
