Alice in borderland season 2 topped the Netflix charts, beating squid game record as the most-watched global non-English TV list series after its premiere.
According to NMEthe second season totaled 61.2 million viewing hours in its first weekend of December 19–25, which put it at the top of the global list of non-English TV shows.
The new record reaches its climax squid game63 million viewing hours in its first week in the Global Top 10. However, squid game remain number one in the non-English language television section for many months after its release in September 2021.
The show focuses on a group of friends transported to a parallel dimension called Borderlands. To save a life, they must play a series of deadly games that put their friendships to the test.
