Todd Field (Tar), Martin McDonagh (The Banshees of Inishrin), Steven Spielberg (The Fableman), Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan (Everything Everywhere All at Once) are expected to be nominated for an Oscar in the Best Director category. At the same time, The Fablemans, The Banshees of Inishrin and Everywhere All at Once can be nominated for the Best Picture category. Danielle Deadweiler, Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams and Michelle Yeoh may be nominated for Best Actress. Bill Nighy, Colin Farrell, Brendan Fraser, Austin Butler, and Paul Mescal are expected to be nominated for Best Actor.
